I just got back from beautiful Lanzarote and I can’t tell you how amazing being off from my daily routine has been. No cooking, daily cleaning or laundry to think of. When traveling, I always have to pack light because there are only so many suitcases I can manage with my kids in tow. I tend to love outfits that can take me from day to night easily and that are versatile. I also pack things that do not need to be ironed because I just don’t have time for it.

I love this beautiful set with ruffle-bell sleeves and matching ruffled pants. The silky fabric is light for hot days and it’s very flattering for many body shapes as the pants go up mid-waist. The best part is that it’s only $69. I bought it last year but you can shop similar styles here.

I’m loving pink this season so I opted for a bright pink triangle bathing suit that looks great with a tan.

A boho skirt which pairs well with my bathing suit top to go to the beach but can also be worn at night with a cami. Also great because it doesn’t wrinkle.

Lastly, a hat is always a must, not only to protect you from the sun, but because it makes it easy to cover your hair when you don’t have time to blow dry on vacation. I love a big floppy hat but there is something special about panama style hats that make me think of summer days.
