I have been talking about blazers on the blog and how they are such a wardrobe staple.
When I think of blazers, I usually think of black or white blazers. Now that the weather is getting nicer and spring is all around us, I wanted to go for something fresh like a pink blazer. At first, I wasn’t sure I would find much use for it so I went with a inexpensive blazer from River Island. At £68 it was a steal plus if you subscribe to River Island’s newsletter, you can get coupons and promos by email to save even more. The only draw back is that it does wrinkle easily and you can only do a cool iron as it’s 100% polyester.
Now that I’ve been able to try it on with different styles, it’s really become one of my go-to pieces when I don’t have much time and I want to look smart. I can effortlessly put it on with a t-shirt, jeans and trainers. I can also throw in on top of a cute floral spring dress. It also pairs really well with white jeans and pink trainers or even better with pink heels. Although I have yet to style it this way, I think it will look amazing with black or light blue shorts come summer.
