Hi friends! I apologise for the gap in my posts for the past couple of weeks. Tons of work consumed most of my days but I’m excited to be back writing with more ootd inspiration.

I’ve been posting about suits on Instagram. Truth be told, I was not much of a suit girl before I moved to London. I’ve learned from the British that it’s such an easy way to look smart and stylish without overthinking your outfit.

The best thing about going for the suit look is that you can always mix and match from your closet without having to necessarily buy matching pieces.

For my first outfit, I styled a short suit which is a great way to look sophisticated and smart during the hotter months. The inspiration for this outfit was my new millennial pink skirt pants that I bought from Maje. This neutral pink pant was a bit of an investment but it’s a great versatile piece that will last me years. They can also be paired with a black shirt and pumps for a more fun and relaxed look. I styled them with a very inexpensive light pink sleeveless top from River Island and a double breasted blazer in pink also from River Island.

For my second look, I fell in love with these silk pj pants in a violet print with a matching silk purple blazer. The fabric is so soft and light, perfect for spring/summer days. The print is really fun too! To keep the same vibe, I went with a white crop top and finished off the relaxed look with white trainers from Gucci. All pieces from this outfit are from Zara.

Hope you enjoyed these two outfits and I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments! Have a lovely weekend everyone!
