Hi guys! TGIF!
I’m super excited to share with you today my latest denim overalls outfit.
I’ll admit, I’m not much of a denim overalls kind of girl. I have always had wide hips so I don’t really love how my body looks with loose fitting clothing like boyfriend jeans because they tend to make me look wider. Last week, I found really cute ones that are a combination of skinny jeans and overalls that are very flattering for a more curvy body like mine (or anyone!).
For this look, I went with a green crop top shirt that is tight fitting to the body so it shows a bit of skin on the sides of the jumper. Since the shirt is olive green, I added a beige and black hat to complement the green in the shirt. I always love leaving a bit of hair in the front of the hat rather than tucking it back so it looks more stylish. Since the hat is black too, I matched it with a black purse. Lastly, I added white embellished trainers that had some green and gold in them. I kept my accessories simple with gold hoop earrings and voila! I’m ready to go!
Styling tip: If you don’t feel like showing some skin on the sides of the overalls and would like a more conservative look, a tight fitting V-neck or round-neck t-shirt would look great with them. If it’s too long to tuck in, you can do a knot on the side to make it more fitting. Also, don’t forget that you can play with the overall by letting one side hang loose or both for a more casual look.
