Blazer Balmain // Shirt Francesca’s // Jeans Paige // Shoes Rag & Bone // Earrings Accessorize

Long gone are the days where blazers were just for men or corporate work environments. The blazer has become a must-have piece that every woman should keep in her wardrobe. It is incredibly versatile as it can dress up or down any outfit.

To create my look , I  combined bold shades like this bright yellow shirt with a tailored  blazer.  One of my all time favorite designers is Balmain and I was lucky enough to find this Balmain double-breasted blazer on sale. Buying tip:  keep an eye out for the Joseph mid-year and year-end sale as past styles like these one can be found almost 40% off.

The fact that it is a strong statement piece yet very feminine is what made me fall in love with it. The Balmain blazer is a timeless piece that will always be in style. If you love it and want a more affordable option, here are some Balmain -inspired blazers that won’t break the bank.

Styling tips: This season we are seeing blazers paired with everything from gowns to distressed jeans.  Mine is paired with black jeans for a more elegant yet comfortable look. Distressed jeans and sneakers give a more casual look while a tweed miniskirt gives it a playful yet sophisticated look.
